WHERE TO FIND ZT ACCESSORIES

Where I have found ZT accessories

Let me know: SHOULD I USE A LARGER FONT TO MAKE IT EASIER TO READ?

These will gradually be filled out, as I find/fill in the resources.
I am not endorsing any of these sites or products, merely listing sites and things I have found while surfing the internet.
I am always looking for thing to add to this page. If you know of something that is not here, please let me know.  If there is something you want or need and it is not here, please let me know.  In the meantime, enjoy.

Plastic Protective sleeves (non-magnetic) for Zentangle tiles

Magnetic Sleeves for Artist Trading Cards:

Magnetic Sleeves for Zentangle Tiles:

  • 3.5 X 3.5 MAGNETIC SLEEVES for posting on refrigerators, etc.:Hooray!!!  Karen Bartels  found these at Michael;s.  These may be found in the "Framing" section and currently are $1.99 each.  They have 2 kinds, flexible and hard. Michael;s does not have an on-line store, you have to physically go there. :(
  • In the past, I could never find these for 3-1/2 inch square cards. However, any place that sells photographic accessories will have them sized to 3-1/2 X 5 inches. You can use them as is, or trim them to 3-1/2 X 3-1/2 inches.  I have been buying mine at Walmart online.

Magnetic Sleeves for other sized ZIAs:
Walmart set contains some 3.5 x 5 and several 2.5 x 4.5 sleeves plus larger sizes:

Notebook pages for Artist Trading Cards:

Notebook pages for Zentangle Tiles:

  • There are only two places I have found these:
    • CropStop
      • Thanks to Karen Bartels for getting this address for me. (I lost it when my computer crashed._Also, if you use the code "Zentangle" when you check out, CropStop will give you a discount.
    • NB pages for Zentangle tiles on Etsy:
    • SUBSTITUTE: At an office supply (Staples, Office Max, etc) you can purchase "3.5 inch DISKETTE HOLDERS"  These are designed to hold 3.5" floppy diskettes(remember those?), but the pockets are the perfect size to hold Zentangle tiles!. The plastic has 4 pockets, to hold 8 tiles visible from both sides. There are also 4 smaller pockets to hold information cards. See an example here.
      • ADVANTAGES: These holders do not stick out beyond the paper sheets in the notebook! And, they are cheaper. Readily available.
      • DISADVANTAGE: Each page only holds 8 tiles instead of 12. More difficult to find a source.

Sakura Micron pens / pen sets:

  • Sakura Micron pen sets are found in many places including Staples, Walmart, Arts and Crafts stores, etc.  I have found one particular set to be my favorite: the MANGA-COMIC PRO. This set contains micron pens 005, 03, 08, 1, brush and pencil.  The 1 and brush are particularly great for filling in larger areas.

  2. Thanks for posting a great resource.
Polymer clay is another surface you can tangle on either prebaked or after in which case I would carve it in. Bless you.

  3. Another great source for Micron pens is www.jetpens.com. They have a great selection of the colors and sizes. Cost is usually $2.50 per pen but shipping is free for orders over $25.00.
